Our Story
It started with a tweet.
Sam asked his 300,000+ Twitter and LinkedIn followers if they had an accountant they’d recommend and the replies flooded in. Hundreds of client recommendations. Not just names, but real client experiences.
He looped in Joe & Kimi, and we did what any sane people would do. We started cold calling hundreds of accountants. We asked all the nosy questions you’d ask during your own vetting process: what do you actually do, who do you serve, how much do you charge?
Then we built them pages on Sam’s List, each one starting with at least one client review.
That could’ve stayed a personal spreadsheet. Instead, it became Sam’s List. A place where businesses and individuals can actually find financial professionals (accountants, fractional CFOs, and financial advisors) based on reviews from real clients not just the cherry picked reviews on a firm’s website or their LinkedIn bio.

Joe Speiser
Built & scaled 3 startups in ad-tech, ecomm & digital media. Now runningHampton(a high growth founder community) and Sam's List (where you are right now)
Kimi Green
My path doesn't make much sense from the outside looking in: corporate tech, failed donut shop, fintech, and a business helping run clubs monetize. Those plot twists have lead me here and I love it so much!
